About the Event
THIS WEEK: Francis Weller, a renowned psychotherapist and author, identifies five gates of grief, recognizing that for centuries, grief was communal, a restoration of that which was damaged, it was celebrated, expressed, and acknowledged to be an essential part of the human experience. The five gates of grief can be summarized as follows: everything we love, we will lose; the places that have not known love; the sorrows of the world; what we expected and did not receive; and ancestral grief. Registration includes a link to an 8-minute video trailer of a movie that demonstrates the lost art of grief, with Francis Weller commenting.
