About the Event

The Life-Death cycle is one that is connected to the concept of reincarnation. We are born, we live, we die, and then we are born again to live again and die again, and so on. There is a slightly different concept floated by author Clarissa, Pinkola Estes, PhD called the Life-Death-Life Cycle. It is illustrated by an interpretation of an Inuit myth called Skeleton Woman wherein Life and Death are shared between two beings so that they both may live. Esoteric at times, the main idea of the story is that Life and Death are one, parts of us must die so that another may live, death gives way to rebirth, life and death are not opposites, etc. Parts of us are always dying and being reborn. How does this idea play into your self-concept and approach to life?
