About the Event
Frank Ostaseski's extensive work, experiences, and teaching in end-of-life care led to his book "The Five Invitations: What Death Can Teach Us About Living Fully". The first invitation, as a teaser, is "Don't wait". We've heard this before and it can bring up a range of reactions. If we take the statement "Don't wait", it might sound like a directive, a command. Yet Ostaseski not only distills his work at end-of-life into five key points, but he calls them 'invitations'. How does the idea of being invited to 'not wait' feel differently than being told, or even encouraged, when we consider living well and dying well? Join to discuss all five invitations.Â
