The quest for immortality can be found in philosophical and mythical texts around the globe. What is immortality and why does it at first seem so enticing? Would you want to live forever and never age? What if you were offered the opportunity to be immortal and never age?

For better or worse, the secret for immortality has not yet been discovered, which means that as mortals, we are destined to age and ultimately to die. What does aging and mortality offer us that immortality does not?
