Five Stages of Grief

About the Event
You have likely heard about the stages of grief, as put forth by Elisabeth Kübler Ross, MD. EKR published her findings and thoughts at a time when grief was not openly talked about and something that culturally was often experienced behind closed doors. Over time, these 'stages' have commonly been misunderstood as progressive steps along a nonexistent timeline of grief. This week we shed light on the terrain of grief as viewed through the above-mentioned doctor's lens of the five responses to the dynamic emotion and experience of grief.
