Community

"It takes a village". This is especially true and often overlooked when considering caring for someone at the end of life. While the term "village" may not apply to many in the modern western world, "community" might feel more applicable. "Community" means different things to different people. What does it mean to you? What is your relationship to the idea of community? What values do you share amongst other members? What and who helps make your community run? How do you support each other? How does your community and your idea of it play a role in illness, end-of-life, and the dying process?
