About the Event
Grief is a personal and unique experience. In addition to individual factors that might influence the grieving process, like coping mechanisms, social support, etc., the circumstances of a loved one's death can also shape the grieving process. A tragic accident, a devastating disease process, a long and slow decline, dying alone, 'going out with a fight'- what circumstances influence the grief of those still living? How? What has your experience been? Does this impact how you view your own ultimate demise?
