About the Event

How we view time is connected to how we view life and death. Linear time suggests we have a beginning- birth, and an end- death. Circular time turns this understanding of life and death on its head. Various indigenous cultures approach time from a circular and cyclical standpoint: from the linear perspective, Grandfather died 30 years ago. From the circular perspective, it might be said that Grandfather died yesterday, and is here with us today, and died a lifetime ago. How does this influence how we approach time- and life- on a daily, annual, and lifetime scale?
