Circular Theory of Time
How does our perception of time influence how we view life and death? How can viewing time as circular rather than linear shift perspectives?

About the Event
How we view time is connected to how we view life and death. Linear time suggests we have a beginning- birth, and an end- death. Circular time turns this understanding of life and death on its head. Various indigenous cultures approach time from a circular and cyclical standpoint: from the linear perspective, Grandfather died 30 years ago. From the circular perspective, it might be said that Grandfather died yesterday, and is here with us today, and died a lifetime ago. How does this influence how we approach time- and life- on a daily, annual, and lifetime scale?
